  • Projects Lead to.

  • To plan and execute IT infrastructure projects from start to finish in accordance with the client IT Project Methodology (ITPM).

  • Manage of project budget, resource requirements and delivery schedule.

  • Maintain and track scheduled events and project/program milestones.

Lead for the successful implementation of IT project(s) and is measured against the following success factors: Quality, Schedule, Budget and Customers Satisfaction.

  • To assist with infrastructure support activities, Daily checks, Standby and monthly maintenance.

To assist the IT Manager in running projects related to the following technologies:

  • Network Architectural Designs (Topologies).

  • Network hardware (HP/Cisco Switches, Routers, Hubs, cabling, cabinets).

  • Network software (Active Directory, Domain controller, Operating Systems).

  • Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), e.g Microsoft SQL Server.

  • Server Hardware &

  • Virtualisation (HP servers, VMware vCentre).

  • Backup &

  • Storage (SAN, Veeam).

  • End-user Computing (Deskops, Laptops, Monitors, Printers, docking stations, consumables).

  • Information Security (Firewall, Antivirus).

  • Communications (E-mail, Video conferencing).

  • Communications (VoiP Telephone System).

  • Communications (Cellular &

  • Data Services) Computer Accessories (mouse, keyboard, networkcables, spares).

  • End-user Productivity software (Microsoft Office Suite Word, PowerPoint, Visio,Excel, Access).

  • SAP ERP upgrades, patches and support &

  • enhancement packages.

  • Manufacturing Execution Systems.

  • Quality Management Systems.

  • Azure/AWS Cloud Computing.

  • Lead the successful delivery of complex customer IT projects from initiation, planning, design to implementation.

  • Manage the project from start to completion including the resolution of project risks and issues.

  • Manage small to medium or a portion of larger, more complex IT projects.

  • Provide leadership and management of the project team.

  • Ensure project objectives and performance metrics are defined and achieved.

  • Ensure that project deliverable meet the required quality standards and are accepted by the customer.

  • Create &

  • Present Management of Change (MoC) as well as IT Change Control documents for approval.

  • Create Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Quotations (RFQ).

  • Responsible for the creation and updating of the project scope/charter, schedule and plan with financial, resource and equipment requirements.

  • Responsible for regular internal project status and project financial reporting. Responsible for organizing and leading project team and project governance team meetings.

  • Accountable for the Project Budget.

  • Participate in the preparation of service level agreements.

  • Oversee project staff including project engineers, both on- and off-site teams, vendors, partners or subcontractors. Present project business value to the client for approval of IT investments.

  • To comply with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental, Security plans and procedures.

  • Participate in Weekly Toolbox Talks (TBT) and monthly IT Safety Walks.

  • Report HSSE risks and follow-up on remediations.

  • Report non-conformance to quality standards and follow-up on remediations.

  • Advice on HSSE issues in MoC approval meetings.

  • Ensure systems in the area of responsibility dont compromise any HSSE requirements.

  • Ensure proper housekeeping (5S) in IT office, Data centre, IT Training Rooms and Storeroom.

  • Capture key Lessons learnt and Best Practices which can be used to improve AS Service delivery performance.

  • Continuously focus on project delivery excellence and high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Build tight working relationship with offsite 3rd party delivery teams.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Diploma/Degree Information Systems/Computer Science with majors in Computer Networks or Programming.

  • 3-year National Diploma in Project Management.

  • Project Management Institute (PMI).

  • TOGAF 9 certification.

  • A+ certification.

  • MCSE (Cloud &

  • Infrastructure).

  • Networking (N+) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

  • CCTV and Access Control.

  • 3-7 or more years of IT experience.

  • 3-5 Manufacturing experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager.

  • Exposure and working level knowledge of working with and interfacing to offsite delivery teams.

  • Project Management experience in the deployment of IT Infrastructure technologies.

  • knowledge of building a critical path and understanding the right.

  • Actively managing a critical path which allows for a line of sight into risk/issues before they negatively impact the project.

  • Conceptual knowledge of main IT Infrastructure components (server, storage, network, data, cloud, and applications).

  • An understanding of the legal issues with contracts.

  • Project plan and schedule creation.

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • 2+ years project management experience in IT Infrastructure projects.

  • ERP applications e.g. SAP, Sage, Oracle, JD Edwards etc.

  • Cisco Networking, Desktop and HP Server Hardware experience.

  • Routers, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewall, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VoIP.

  • Practical experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SMTP,VPN etc.

  • VMware (Vsphere) experience.

  • Veeam back-up and replication.

  • Video conferencing (Polycom or Cisco).

  • Microsoft Office 365 and/or Skype for Business implementation &

  • support.

  • Fortigate Firewall implementation &

  • support.

  • Symantec antivirus implementation &

  • support.

  • Windows servers 2012 R2 and Hyper V, System Center 2012/2016.

  • HP Storgate systems (Including cloud &

  • Flash array storage).
