Our client requires the services of an IT Technician to:
Ensure all calls are handled with SLA.
Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
Organise shift patterns and resource levels within Region.
Conduct meetings where required with users, staff and vendors.
Identify improvements to Active Service Desk where required.
Manage and maintain site documentation.
Conduct regular management reporting.
Ensure all calls are logged into the Active Service Desk system and that call progress reports are appropriately recorded on the ticketing system.
Manage all calls that fall out of SLA by discussing with Helpdesk staff and escalating calls where necessary.
Available for out of hours support as required.
Manage customer complaints or enquiries.
Ensure all staff in region are performing in accordance with policies and procedures.
Ensure all calls are completed within agreed SLAs and escalate calls that cannot be completed.
Identify skills shortages on the Helpdesk and advise Service Manager of these instances.
Provide first and second line support to clients.
Able to provide Server support as required.
Installing , configuring and troubleshooting printers.
Active Directory Support and responsible for maintaining regional.
Responsible for server Backups within your region.
Network Patching and cabling support.
IP telephone Support.
Video Conference support.
Functional support and escalations for the clients IT staff.
The ideal candidate should have:
Microsoft Certified in Windows ( MCSE ) Supervisor Skills Certification 4 years in a corporate environment, with 2 years in a similar role POSITION: Permanent role.
COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible.
