Junior SAP K2/K3 SD Functional Consultant

Minimum years of experience: 3+ years.

    Minimum qualification required: Certification and SAP module.

    • South African Citizens Only.

    Requirement to skill up:

    • Full understanding of the solution required with focus on Invoicing, understanding for Cost of Retail, accounting and system landscape.

    • The clients specific knowledge (ITPM, HP ALM, TPA Tool, Optis Tool, Jira).

    Delivery activities:

    • Understand Template.

    • Understand Business Requirements.

    • Validate and document requirements against Template to be presented to headquarter for decision.

    • Check dependencies of the requested changes and align with Maintenance Application manager.

    • Align with Functional Consultants and Developers of the team and the maintenance team.

    • Assure quality of Design, take responsibility for all design work.

    • Create / check Test cases.

    • Support with Go Live preparation and support during Go Live (could be on weekends, late evenings).

    • Ensure implementation according timeline.

    • Develop solution and prepare for User Acceptance Test.

    • Ensure Transition into line.

    • Ensure availability during Go Live (Weekend) and Hypercare phase.

    • Ensure proper documentation (Design, Technical documents).

    • Follow ITPM approach.

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    • Strong ability to understand and interpret Business needs and requirements with the ability to move concepts through to proposal and finally successful implementation.

    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users.

    • Strong Presentation skills.

    • Should be willing to deal with (talk to) our customers. In most cases they will be foreign customers and language barriers might exist.

    • Ability to work as part of a team, inter dependant as well as independently and submit deliverables on time and in excellent quality. SELF STARTER.

    • Above board work ethics this is of utmost importance.

    • Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project.

    • Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required. Willing and able to travel extensively, for up to 2 weeks at a time (international).

    • Travel required to Germany.

    • In case you will be appointed to another project - travel to other countries might be required as well.

    POSITION: Contract role until March 2018.
